On the right side of this page you will find a blog list titled “Ban List.” This is a list of some of the banks and financial institutions that have become or are in the process of becoming Sharia Compliant, or are offering mutual funds and other financial instruments that are Sharia Compliant. We have used Amana Mutual Funds to make the point. On the Amana web site you can see a listing of financial institutions (dealers and brokers) who offer these Amana Mutual Funds. What do you think the list would look like if every mutual fund was listed with its list of dealers and brokers? Look to the right and see some of our suggested financial institutions to avoid.
