Thomas Paine said, “The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly … “ With the exception of those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan (and their families), many of us enjoy freedom, but we treat it as our divine right. It has cost our generation little. We might add to Paine’s thought, the man who lightly regards his freedom is a man incapable of recognizing the signs when those freedoms begin to slip away.

Former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich said, “Islamofascism is the greatest threat to America in the 21st Century.” Brigitte Gabriel, a Lebanese by birth and an American by choice, has dedicated her life and resources to help America wake up to this threat Gingrich speaks of. Brigitte Gabriel realized she can not wage this war alone, and so from her own home she started ACT! For America.

ACT for America is an issues advocacy organization dedicated to effectively organizing and mobilizing the most powerful grassroots citizen action network in America, a network committed to inform and coordinate civic action that will lead to public policies. ACT! for America is promoting America’s national security and defending American democratic values against the assault of radical Islam.

I don’t know about you, but when I realize that I can partner with Brigitte Gabriel, and 60,000 other patriots in more than 200 ACT chapters across the country, I no longer feel like one tiny voice. I can make a difference and so can you. Through ACT my voice and concerns will sit in the chambers of the U.S. Congress. Through ACT the cataracts will be removed from the eyes of our people. Through ACT we can take the offensive against Islamofascism. Through ACT we can help our country return to our Judeo-Christian roots that make American what she was.

How many cars do you think would be sold if the salesman said, “while this unit has everything, there is one exception. It doesn’t have a gas tank.” That vehicle with all of its extras would be useless without the one thing that makes a car a car.
