US Helps Pay PA Terrorists Who Murdered Americans!

by Gil Ronen
Every single Palestinian Authority terrorist held in an Israeli jail receives a monthly salary from the PA.  Terrorists who committed the most heinous crimes – and therefore received longer sentences – receive the most money, according to a report in Israeli paper Yisrael Hayom.

Citing a report received by a senior government official in Jerusalem, the paper says that the terrorists’ salaries are paid from the PA’s “public budget,” which accounts for about 3.5 percent of its total budget.

The PA treasury receives cash from two main sources: the US pays about 50 percent of the money, and the rest is mostly from European Union member nations.

Prisoners who were jailed for periods of up to five years receive 1,400 to 2,000 NIS per month.  However, terrorists serving 10 to 15 years receive 6,000 shekels, the ones serving 15 to 20 years receive 10,000 shekels, and those serving 20 to 30 years get 12,000 shekels. These are people who planned, directed and took part in the intentional sadistic slaughter of civilian men, women and children, at point blank range.

Since some of the victims of PA terror are American citizens, the information means that US taxpayers pay monthly salaries to the people who murdered their fellow citizens.  The latest US citizen who was a victim of PA terror is Ben Yosef Livnat, who was gunned down in Shechem.

The terrorists’ wives and children receive additional cash, and prisoners with Israel citizenship get a bonus.

Israel’s Minister of National Infrastruture Says It Is Time To Cancel the Oslo Accords!

By Maayana Miskin (Arutz Sheva News
The time has come for Israel to cancel the Oslo Accords, Minister of National Infrastructure Uzi Landau told Arutz Sheva. The “absurd” accords should be canceled both because of the Palestinian Authority’s plan to seek unilateral statehood, and because they are harmful, he said.  “These agreements were absurd and grave, and did serious damage to Israel’s security,” he argued.

“No less importantly, they paved the way to give legitimacy to the existence of a Palestinian people and to the argument that they deserve a state in Judea and Samaria, the cradle of our society.  These accords turned the leader of a terrorist gang, Yasser Arafat, into a supposed cultured leader worthy of joining the society of nations,” he continued.  When Israel gives legitimacy to the PA, “the organization that was established with the position that we turned them into poor refugees,” it then struggles to present any alternative view, he said.

Israel must inform the PA that going to the United Nations to seek recognition of a unilaterally declared PA state will mean an end to any and all agreements reached between Israel and the PA until that point, Landau stated.  In addition, “They must be informed that Israel will declare sovereignty over large territories in the national consensus, like Area C and the settlement blocs,” he said.  “The reality created will be new and different.”

PA State and Arab Suffering

If the PA does go to the UN, it will win majority support, even if leading democracies are against its plans, Landau said.  The PA must realize that if it does go to the UN, “the price they will pay will be very high,” he said.

For example, he said, despite several dry years in a row, PA Arabs remain able to turn on their faucets and be confident that water will come out – a confidence not shared by their neighbors in Syria and elsewhere.  If the PA cuts ties with Israel, the lifestyle enjoyed by those under its leadership will sink to meet the level of residents of other Arab states.

Israel Must Prepare for Violence!

Despite the PA’s public talk of non-violent protests, Israel must prepare for violence, Landau warned.  “We look at our neighbors and we see what ‘nonviolent protests’ look like in the Middle East.  We will need to defend ourselves,” he declared.”  Anyone who does not appreciate the danger is naive.  For them, the distance between going out to protest and pulling a trigger is very short,” he added.

Did the White House Cleanse References to “Jerusalem, Israel” from its Website?

The Blaze is reporting that the White House is attempting to sever any connection of Jerusalem to the State of Israel by erasing the word “Israel” from captions on the White House website of photos taken in Jerusalem.

Only hours after being confronted by a reporter about the Supreme Court case about Jerusalem and passports that we’ve been reporting, the White House seemingly edited most if not all of the captions on its website by saying they were taken in “Jerusalem” not “Jerusalem, Israel”.

Is this a random accident or is the White House doing its utmost to eradicate Israel’s connection to its eternal capital? You decide…

Why is the Jewish World Concerned about the Murdoch Fallout?

By Gil Ronan (Arutz Sheva News)

Media giant Murdoch is not Jewish but is pro-Israel. What will happen to his media empire and how will Israel be affected?

There is growing concern in the Jewish world from the possible effect that the scandal surrounding press mogul Rupert Murdoch’s employees will have on Israel. The reason for this is that Murdoch is very pro-Israel in his views, and his press empire has generally treated Israel fairly, unlike other press groups.

“My own perspective is simple: We live in a world where there is an ongoing way against the Jews,” Murdoch at an Anti-Defamation League dinner held in his honor in 2010. “When Americans think of anti-Semitism, we tend to think of the vulgar caricatures and attacks of the first part of the 20th century. Now it seems that the most virulent strains come from the left. Often this new anti-Semitism dresses itself up as legitimate disagreement with Israel.”

A phone hacking scandal in Britain has resulted in high-level resignations in Murdoch’s News Corp and ten arrests so far. The future of Murdoch’ empire is now uncertain. There is also concern that Fox News will fall into the hands of a Saudi prince.

JTA quoted Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice-chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, as saying of Murdoch: “His publications and media have proven to be fairer on the issue of Israel than the rest of the media. I hope that won’t be impacted.”

Murdoch’s News Corp owns, among other news outlets, The Wall Street Journal, the Times of London and the Australian, as well as the Sun in Britain and the New York Post, Fox News Channel and a 39 percent stake in British Sky Broadcasting.

“Consider for a moment what would remain of media objectivity regarding Israel related matters with News Corporation’s assets weakened or sold off,” wrote David Efune of the Algemeiner. “Likely it will be reduced to incessant clubbing from such enlightened Middle East ‘experts’ as Thomas Friedman, Karl Vick, Peter Beinart and others.”

Efune’s views the current troubles as a challenge to Jewish creativity.

“The Jewish people have rebuilt their homeland, they have drafted a defense force, they have contributed significantly to technology, medicine (see article below), science and spirituality, but in the arena of public opinion, in the battleground of ideas, they have yet to make their mark.” He called out to “fair-minded entrepreneurs” to “explore this market gap in Jewish communication gilded by the legacy of an industry giant.”

Medical Care for Muslims

A short time ago, Iran’s Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Ali Khomeini urged the Muslim World to boycott anything and everything that originates with the Jewish people.

In response, Meyer M. Treinkman, a pharmacist, out of the kindness of his heart, offered to assist them in their boycott as follows:

  • Any Muslim who has syphilis must not be cured by Salvarsan discovered by a Jew, Dr. Ehrlich. He should not even try to find out whether he has Syphilis, because the Wasserman Test is the discovery of a Jew.
  • If a Muslim suspects that he has Gonorrhea, he must not seek diagnosis, because he will be using the method of a Jew named Neissner.
  • A Muslim who has heart disease must not use Digitalis, a discovery by a Jew, Ludwig Traube.
  • Should he suffer with a toothache, he must not use Novocain, a discovery of the Jews, Widal and Weil.
  • If a Muslim has Diabetes, he must not use Insulin, the result of research by Minkowsky, a Jew. If one has a headache, he must shun Pyramidon and Antypyrin, due to the Jews, Spiro and Ellege.
  • Muslims with convulsions must put up with them, because it was a Jew, Oscar Leibreich, who proposed the use of Chloral Hydrate.
  • Arabs must do likewise with their psychic ailments, because Freud, father of psychoanalysis, was a Jew.
  • Should a Muslim child get Diphtheria, he must refrain from the “Schick” reaction, which was invented by the Jew, Bella Schick.
  • Muslims should be ready to die in great numbers and must not permit treatment of ear and brain damage, work of Nobel Prize winner, Robert Baram.
  • They should continue to die or remain crippled by Infantile Paralysis, because the discoverer of the anti-polio vaccine is a Jew, Jonas Salk.
  • Muslims must refuse to use Streptomycin and continue to die of Tuberculosis, because a Jew, Zalman Waxman, invented the wonder drug against this killing disease.
  • Muslim doctors must discard all discoveries and improvements by dermatologist Judas Sehn Benedict, or lung specialist, Frawnkel, and of many other world renowned Jewish scientists and medical experts.
  • In short, good and loyal Muslims properly an fittingly should remain afflicted with Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Heart Disease, Headaches, Typhus, Diabetes, Mental Disorders, Polio Convulsions, and Tuberculosis … and be proud to obey the Islamic boycott.

But let’s not get picky.

Meanwhile, I ask, what medical contributions to the world have the Muslims made?”

Lebanon Warns Israel About “Playing With Fire”

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu  (IsraelNationalNews)

Lebanon has warned Israel it is “playing with fire” by staking out energy claims in the Mediterranean Sea, where Beirut says Israel’s discoveries are in its territory.

The Israeli Cabinet, heading off another dispute similar to the Sheba Farms land dispute at the northern border, approved a “marine economic zone proposal” Sunday after Lebanon presented maps to the United Nations, marking maritime borders that would include part of the giant Leviathan and Tamar fields. The United Nations previously has refused to take responsibility for marking the maritime borders.

The Lebanese daily As-Safir, in an article under the headline “War of Oil: Another Phase of Israeli Offense,” reported that Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water Joubran Bassil said Israel “is playing with fire “by violating Lebanon’s maritime border and oil rights.”

He added, “Obviously we will prevent any violation.   However, in case of violation, Israel will not be the only damaged part, but also large companies that cooperate with it.   We, in Lebanon, respect the rights of others, and we don’t want to violate the rights of others, but at the same time, we do not want someone to attack us.   Lebanon will not give up its rights or its borders”

Israeli firms discovered the gas fields, which also are believed to hold large commercially viable oil deposits, two years ago.   Afterwards, Lebanon said the discoveries are in its territory, and it recently has announced that a Norwegian company will start a seismic research offshore.

Hizbullah, with its eyes on the rich reserves, previously has threatened that Israel is risking war by planning to “steal” its offshore energy reserves.

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon Sunday morning denied a report in the Haaretz newspaper that the United States already has backed the Lebanese position.

“The dispute over the border with Lebanon was created by the Lebanese,” he said on Army Radio.  ”It is incorrect that the Americans sided with Lebanon in this dispute.   There are very objective and organized rules, and I think that Israel will have no problem proving its ownership of the maritime areas that are ostensibly in dispute.”

He also said that Israel has unsuccessfully tried to talk with Lebanese officials about maritime borders, despite the countries’ officially being enemy states.  ”We’ve been in contact with Lebanon for a very long time,” he explained.  ”We have an interest in demarcating and setting all the borders, but they refuse.”

“Even the current land border, which is recognized by the United Nations, was demarcated without Lebanese involvement or recognition,” Ayalon said.   “After the huge gas reserves were discovered, they suddenly woke up. Now that they’ve suddenly sent maps, we have no choice but to set the borders ourselves.”

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman charged that Lebanon is “under pressure from Hizbullah” and “is looking for friction.”  He added that there are “very strong arguments under international law” that back Israel’s claims.

EDITOR’S NOTE:  The situation in the Middle East grows more intense with each passing week.  Our confidence and trust is in the LORD GOD of Israel Who has a specific plan that has been outlined for us in the Bible.  We pray for the salvation of Israelis as well as Muslims – praying that they would turn to the Messiah of Israel, our blessed Lord Yeshua, before it is too late! U.S. Congress Opposes PA Statehood Bid

by Gavriel Queenann  (Arutz Sheva News)

The US House of Representatives voted 407-6 to pass a non-binding resolution backing the suspension of funds to the cash-strapped Palestinian Authority should it pursue its bid for a unilateral declaration of statehood by the United Nations in September.  The resolution comes the week after the US Senate unanimously approved a similar resolution.

The House resolution also calls for the Obama Administration to consider suspending aid to the PA in light of its unity deal with the Hamas terror organization.  The resolution is non-binding because; constitutionally foreign policy is the purview of the President of the United States.

The House initially debated the resolution on Wednesday, but postponed the vote to ensure lawmakers had a chance to vote.  Republicans and Democrats signaled their strong support for Israel and a resumption of direct negotiations that collapsed last fall.

“We stand by Israel as our most valued ally.  It is time for the Palestinian Authority to accept a peaceful solution to this conflict,” said House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA).   Rep. Steny Hover of Maryland, the No. 2 Democrat in the House, said he strongly believed that to ensure “the long-term viability of the Jewish democratic state, peace must be negotiated.  It cannot and will not be imposed from outside.”

The Administration has said the PA push for a UN vote on its statehood this fall has not helped the peace process, a point echoed by lawmakers.  The US has signaled to the PA it will exercise its security council veto at the UN should the matter be brought to a vote.  That renders the PA move in the General Assembly largely symbolic and led Israeli officials to seek a “moral minority” of sixty key states to oppose the move as a means of negating the propaganda effect of the PA receiving the support of its traditional ‘automatic majority’ in the General Assembly.

“What, exactly, would UN General Assembly recognition of a Palestinian State do for the Palestinians?  Absolutely nothing,” said Rep. Howard Berman of California, the top Democrat on the Foreign Affairs Committee.  ”It would be seen by Israel and many others as an act of bad faith, creating yet another obstacle to successful talks.”

The House resolution says the goal is two states “a democratic Jewish State of Israel, and a viable, democratic Palestinian State, living side-by-side in peace, security and mutual recognition.”

But many question the viability of a PA state when the organization, riddled with corruption, cannot make ends meet and survives solely at the charitable largesse of donor nations.
